There Are None.”</p> <p><span>Pushing to the Limit: Celebrating Black History Project</span></p> <p><span>I wanted to exhibit a combination of two entities that I feel that are both important. Those are Black History and having an active lifestyle. The top major causes of death related to blacks/african americans are heart disease, cancer, stroke, and diabetes. These ailments are rooted by health issues which are the most prevalent in this population; Obesity, Poor Nutrition, and Physical Inactivity are among them (All this info can be found on cdc.org) . As a former athlete, I feel that is important to inspire and motivate others to have a healthy lifestyle and so they can live their best days to come. Many prominent Black athletes in history have broken the color barrier so that our generation have the opportunity to perform to the best of our ability as equals.
